A New Dawn

Something is happening to me

and its happening insidiously...

it's something mysterious,

Something empowering 

Something REALLY liberating!

I want to take it and hide it in my pocket

And just let it spur in me slowly

But no, the walls are caving in no me...

illuminating radiance like sunshine burning in midnight!

You've ever had the feeling like warm butter melting down within you?

It makes your heart miss a beat...

It might be the majesty of his strength as he holds your hand

Or the valiance of his smile...

As he reaches out for a kiss..

Or maybe its the enchantment of this feminine body!

I woke up in the morning and (dang!)

There I was all smiles and flamboyant

How haven't I noticed all these stares that clamor for my attention?
how didn't I see how the world around me lights up at

the fire in my eyes

the joy in my feet

the tingle in my smile

And the curl in my lips...
You feel its heart beat at 

The swing in my waist!

 The click of my heels! 
And the grace of my style..

It's a new dawn for me...
